hello peeps!!!
back frm my fabulous OTC'09 camp!!
tis camp is de most toughest camp ever!! but oso de most fun n most useful camp.
k, nw shall start talking abt de journey!
Day 1, 12/06, 3.30pm
dad drove mi to Greenview sec n drop mi there oto mi myOscar mates!
thx dad!
de 1st on to arrive was michelle! so met her n wait for de others.
den we get our labels n label onto our bottles.
when everyth is done, we went to fall in. gave our valueables n take attendence, n went to put our barang barang into one of de classrooms.
1st stop is to RUN!!!
we ran for like 2.4km, but is like so so so long!! leg pain sia.
den after one round, we rested. suddenly sir says, 1stround is onli like when u were sec 1 to 4/5.
de 2nd round will b de run tt we r now. so we ran agn. total 4.8km!!
i thought i cant do it, coz i so long nv run. but nvm, my mates motivates mi!
n i kept telling myself, juz jog,keep on gg!
i reli jogged though out, wah, so proud. HAHA
den after tt i tink is dinner, den lecture. den bed time!
Day 2, 13/06, 4.15am
helped in flag lowering.
wake up damn early la!
din slp well, coz kept looking @ watch,scared overslpt.
den went on to a run!!!!! agn
we run frm greenview sec to PARIS RIS PARK!
like :S! was so shocked!
but oh well, run lor.
haha!
we ran n ran pending n pending, but nv give up! we helped each other! tts wat makes us go on!
so finally reached de park, we drank water den write reflection den sat @ de beach.
to reflect!! n recite de Officer Creed!! =D
den went back to sch, n ran agn. LOL kept running.
den i tink lecture agn, den i tink nth much.
den is de Ultimate Challenge !!!!! damn tough!!
my grp consist of jia jie, aloy, pei shi, lyndia n mi!
perfect grp! haha!
1st stop: do 100 pumping, shared by de grp
2nd stop: climb up a rope n touch de wall n shout LEAD WITH HONOUR!
3rd stop: carry lyndia over de brenches.
4th stop: do 100 jumping jacks, agn shared among us.
5th stop: pull up, iguess
6th stop: shuttle run
7th stop: transportation. piggy back. jiajie piggy back lyndia n aloy piggy back mi. i like so heavy, so sry!!
8th stop: carry lyndia under brench.
9th stop: climb rope n touch wall n ring a bell.
The End! haha!! we quite fast!even though we r team 19 de last grp but we faster den infront grp. But while waiting for de infront teams, we need to stay in pumping postion but lucky can change to sit ups, crutch n buddha clap.
oh ya! de lectures r SUPER NICE!! n i reli getan impact of it!
it reli motivates us!! nt like other motivation talks, which is like conning ppl's money.
de lectures we have is reli v v v motivational!! =D
Day 3, 14/06, 4.45am
RUN agn. ran 2.4 tgt.
den came back tiring, den lecture, den Triage.
i was de Evac2,muz follow my team members to carry cas, but i dunno wats my role.so i juz kept running with dem, den kana scold. den after tt i became FA person. dunno wat happened. den everyth like v messy. sianz. did not do well. sry chio mdm(peixuan), i din do well.
den lunch, den reflection. we were being asked to write down 16 items, den slowly tear out n throw away.i wrote: Family, Friends, Laptop, Handphone, Intelligence, Love, Sleep, Time, Self - discipline, Comfort, St john, exercise, money, Food, 2 more, i forgot wat is it. LOL
in the end i left Family. den we need to write letters for de person u wan to say sry n de person u loved. so i wrote both letters to my parents. den we shared with our grp. with chio mdm.
den we prepared for campfire!! did our dance rehearsal. den its campfire!!!
we were shocked tt we r de second team to start. LOL
we did quite well. n campfire was FUN!!! =D
den went to bath n slp.
day 4, 15/06, 3 am
we woke up @ 2.30am! n packed our bagpack!! getting ready to go ROADMARCH!!!! 16km!!! wah, damn tough! but we encourage each other!!! =DD half way like ard 8km, we settled down n did reflection. we each gt a letter n sir william said tt if ur letter gt one star, u might fail, n if u get 2 stars ur gd OCTs. i was like praying, to get none. juz normal. but gt one star!!! sadded. but later on i foundout,everyone gt 1!! lols! scare mi sia.. HAHA i love OTC!!! so fun!! den after tt we wrote letter to sir william, i tink he is touched! haha! well, i love all de officers in tis camp!! =D i love OTC!!! =DD oscar oso wrote letter to our mentors!! haha!! we love dem!! =D den Home Sweet Home!! =D damn tired..
